Headed to DC on an iPhone
Tomorrow starts our adventure to Washington DC and soon after my internship at Development Seed. Having canceled Comcast and having no access to the "real Internet" I'm posting this from my iPhone, so have mercy. Below is our flight itinerary so at least some people know where we are. Also look for more detailed updates on our trip to DC when I have access to a real computer.

The art of bubble-smithing
This is an amazing video of the "bubble-smith" Sterling Johnson on Stinson Beach blowing enormous bubbles. A lot of people believe it to be fake but apparently Sterling Johnson is a fairly well know bubble-smith.

Yes, it's got a bit of Django in it
I've been working on this mystery project for just a few days and it is already looking fairly decent. I've been very impressed with the power and speed of developing with Django, and I love the Python syntax. If you're curious I'm also using the Google Visualizations API, the Google Maps API (may integrate MapBox later on) and a bit of jQuery here and there.
